Short version. HootMonk is a managed service that cuts cash-on-delivery (COD) return-to-origin (RTO) for Indian D2C brands. We run confirmation, risk-scoring, prepaid nudges and NDR recovery on your own Shopify, Shiprocket/Delhivery and WhatsApp accounts, and we charge against the RTO reduction we prove on your real orders.

What we do

COD return-to-origin is the largest silent cost for most COD-heavy Indian D2C brands. On the independent Shipway ShipNotes FY25 dataset, COD RTO runs around 26% versus under 2% on prepaid, at roughly ₹180–240 in logistics per returned order. HootMonk reduces that number with a layer of COD confirmation, RTO risk-scoring, COD-to-prepaid nudges and in-transit NDR recovery, done for you, on the accounts you already own.

Who we are

HootMonk is founded by Harshit Verma and Rahul Chaudhary, and operated out of Delhi NCR for brands across India. We are operators first: the product exists because RTO is an operational problem, not a dashboard you log into and forget.

How we price

We price on the outcome. A two-week founding pilot proves the RTO delta on your own orders for ₹12,500 + GST (half the standard ₹25,000), credited toward month one if you continue. Ongoing recovery is a flat monthly retainer: ₹30,000/mo (Core) or ₹50,000/mo (Premium), all + 18% GST (SAC 9983).

Our policy on numbers

HootMonk is early and pre-revenue, and we publish no fabricated client results. Every figure on this site is either an external benchmark (Shipway FY25, Unicommerce 2026) or a modeled projection on your own inputs, clearly labeled as such. The only number that matters for your brand is the delta we measure on your real orders during the pilot.

Data and privacy

We work first-party and consent-based, on your own Shopify, Shiprocket/Delhivery and WhatsApp Business accounts. No scraping, no third-party data brokering, DPDP-clean by design.
